How does coaching work?

Coaches are trained to listen, to observe and to customize their approach to individual client needs. In each meeting, the client chooses the focus of conversation, while the coaches ask systematic, analytical questions and seek to elicit solutions and strategies from the client. They believe the client is naturally creative and resourceful. The coach's job is to provide support to enhance the unique skills, resources, and creativity that the client already has.

Coaching is not the same as counselling or therapy, which helps you to deal with the past to be able to deal with the present. Coaching concentrates on where clients are now and what they are willing to do to get where they want to be in the future.
